Art Walks

These guided art walks offer a unique way of experiencing the Arts. The itineraries are diverse from visiting artist run galleries, back yard studios, public art, workshops and creative spaces to curated walks in site-specific locations. Artists are invited to talk or respond through their practice at each site. Each art walk is one to two hours in duration and offers an opportunity for creative discussion with like-minded individuals.

Wynter Projects and Women's Circus presents Fluidity as part of Women of the World conference.

What happens when something becomes too old to be useful anymore? How do you navigate change in a rapidly evolving world? How many of you have kept your first love letter hidden away in a dusty shoebox?

Join us for a walk along the Maribyrnong River, where local artist Chantal Wynter will guide you to contemplate what is cherished in our society and what is discarded, and to examine how Footscray’s unique environs reflects these thoughts. Be surprised by moments of art and physicality through site-specific activations by Women’s Circus. Take some air, connect with the outside world and be inspired.
