This art walk is part of Brunswick Street All Out. A day of events, workshops and activities in retail stores along Brunswick St, Fitzroy.
Strictly 18 + group as we will be visiting a Tattoo Parlour that has no entry for under 18 year olds.
We begin the walk at the corner of Gertrude and Brunswick Streets ( Atherton Gardens side) where the Soup Van has been providing meals for the under privileged for many years. Local visual artist Tina Douglas, will open her studio providing exclusive access to her practice. Studio Ingot specialises in hand crafted jewellery and represents talented artisans. Around the corner to view epic street works. We drop in on Shell Valentine of DangerZone Tattoo who will offer insight into design and practise of an ancient craft. We finish at Brunswick Street Gallery, an exhibition space for artists. What an awesome way to spend a creative afternoon in Fitzroy!*
