The Purpose of Art: a Walking Tour

  • Vu at Metro West 138 Nicholson Street Footscray, VIC, 3011 Australia (map)

As part of Think West and in collaboration with School of Life, this guided walk is an intimate conversation with artists Annee Miron and Laresa Kosloff discussing their practice and purpose. The two sites, an outdoor interactive artwork and Footscray Community Arts Centre will provide the catalyst for conversation. We will delve into how each artist investigates and responds to their world through creativity. They will explore unlikely influences and connections such as performance and the tangible or nature and factory production. Come join us for an informal chat with two Western suburbs based artists as they offer insight into their intentions of art making.

DURATION: 2 Hours
