WHY SURREALISM ? thanks to Little Creatures Collective.

Surrealism is a fun way for kids to explore the often impossible and illogical thoughts that they conjure up in their imaginations. Fish might fly given fairy wings, or an apple can grow legs and walk its self to the park! The sort of ideas that send them into a giggly state of hysteria. They wish it would all come true, well now it can!

The world of Surrealism is one that is trying to depict dream-states often without boundaries or logic. Surrealism art works often feature natural forms that are detached, transposed or mutated far from real-life situations. These works feature illogical and unlikely occurrences, elements of surprise, and unexpected juxtapositions, which kids just love!
